The last several weeks ,it seems everywhere I turn the message to judge not is on every corner.
Facebook has been inundated with post after post encouraging one another to not judge . .....
With each one I read, I can feel the breath of my daddy God whispering into my ear and my heart.
"Listen and love, judge not for in the same measure you judge will I judge you...."
"Love my children as I love you and you love yours..."
Have I judged Lord?
Forgive me...........

So many times the world will have us to believe those who suffer, struggle and live in despair deserve the pain inflicted upon them..
The ranting words spewed upon them in disgust over choices made and lives lead.....
The shaking of heads and sour looks.......
The paralyzing fear to reach out and embrace, for if we do, our social status will be compromised in the eyes of others.
Social status?? ..Really??
Sadly yes, many are more concerned with worldly status.....
(I am so thankful Jesus is not.)
The "how could you's", "why did you's", and "what were you thinking" will send the hurting into a further and deeper down hill spiral of pain.
Their eyes pleading to " Judge me not"..........
Hearts bleeding tears of sorrow........
An emptiness that echos the need for love.....
Unconditional love.
I believe Pastor John Hagee said it best.....
" Instead of judging someone, try helping them. You can not know what is going on in another person's life until you SEE it from their perspective."
When we look into the lives of others, we are not placed there to pick it apart piece by piece.....
It is not our place to criticize, belittle nor humiliate the person and their circumstances surrounding....
To embrace with compassion, love, truth, kindness and grace that shows no boundaries, that is who we are called to be to a hurting world.
Stop for just a moment and think about a time in your own life when things were turned upside down and inside out........
Were you judged or were you loved?
Were you despised and criticized?
Or embraced with grace and met with mercy?
Many times I was not shown grace, nor mercy much less any love......
It's a very lonely place to be......
Full of isolation and wrapped in a dark world of cold stares and meaningless actions.
I never want others to feel the way I have........
I want to meet them where they are and extend the love of Christ.....
The real love of Christ, not how the world defines it.
My intent is never to judge , however should I do, I know there He will be correcting me with His love.
Judge me not......

Matthew 7:1-3
7 “Judge not, that you be not
judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you
will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to
you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your
brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?
Luke 6:37
37 “Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall
not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
"To embrace with compassion, love, truth, kindness and grace that shows no boundaries, that is who we are called to be to a hurting world." That says it so well. I know what it feels like to be judged and I'm so grateful for how God has worked on my heart to be so careful about not doing this to others. Great message, Stacey. Thank you for sharing with Three Word Wednesday. Blessings.
