Like A Boss

We all have our own "yellow" brick road to follow.
We each have been destined to walk our individual paths that our daddy God has set before us.
Portions of our roads, we may have others walking with us....
Other times we have those walking a little ahead of us....
And times when there are those who are behind us,just starting their journey.
Then there are times we walk it alone.....
Or it appears to be we are alone.

For we are never alone.
God's word tells us....

Deuteronomy 31:6

" Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."

Our brick road can consist of  all types of twists and turns....
Uphill climbs....
And downhill slides.
Taking the corners sideways....
And exhaling on the straight away.

Along the way we meet those who are to be in our lives for a season....
And some who are to be there until the end of time.
Our brick road is full of new beginnings, and endings....
Changes and transitions.
(To read more about "change and transition" pop over to  She Stands  here.)

Our road is our journey, not our destination.
I think back to Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz. All she wanted was to get to the great and mighty Oz for instructions on how to get back to Kansas, to do so she had to follow the yellow brick road.
Along the way, she meet those who would be in her life for a season....
The tin man, the lion and the scarecrow.
She walked out her journey to reach her destination.

Today I purpose in my heart to not only follow my "yellow" brick road.....
Believing and knowing this is my journey, not my destination....
And most importantly, I am never alone!!
Neither are you!!!!

We  will have our own tin man, lion and scarecrow to walk with us from time to time....
But the best news is our daddy God is already there, never to leave nor forsake us as we walk journey!!
Put on your ruby slipper, heels or boots....
Walk it like a boss......
As a child of the most high God!!!
