Guilt Be Gone

The other day I was talking to a friend and as we were sharing and catching up on life, my friend stated she still at times carries the guilt from the past.

In one quick sentence I tell her, "Girl please, you are covered by the blood of Jesus, let  that go."
And our girl chat went into another direction.....
Full of laughter and good times.

However, her words stuck with me.....
Over the last few days I have ponder the notions and thoughts in my mind.........

Have I allowed myself to carry any needless guilt in my life???
~Hmmmm??~

Do I have any past regrets that have taken root ??
~Busting out the cutting shears~

Is there guilt residing in my heart???
~Getting that eviction notice ready to serve~

The enemy watches our walk with our daddy God....

He comes lurking to steal the healing words spoken to us and over us.....
~ steal ,kill and destroy~

He will throw every legalistic law in our face.....
~Covered by the blood of the Lamb~

He will paint a picture of harsh punishment....
~Mercy said No~

He will, if allowed,  place within our hearts guilt.
~Get behind thee Satan~

We all fall short.....
But we are also covered by His blood!!!
His strength is made perfect in our weakness. ...
He will present us faultless.....
The Lamb of God has already taken our sin.
He has given us all grace.

I want to encourage you as I purpose to encourage myself.....
Do not allow guilt to swallow you up....
To take control of your heart and emotions....
To come in and remind you of past actions or words.....
For I know I am healed.....
I am redeemed...
I am restored.....
I am renewed!
And so are you!!!!

Guilt Be Gone!!

Isaiah 1:18

1“Come now, let us settle the matter,”
    says the Lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet,
    they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson,
    they shall be like wool.
