I love the movie "Ya Ya Sisterhood".
It tells the tale of four women who have grown up together their entire lives and all the trials they shared together. It enter twines their past to their present. A story of loyalty, love, mercy, grace and healing.
I have been greatly blessed with my own "Ya Ya" sisterhood. Women who I have grown up with since early childhood, teenage years and others from adulthood. These women and I have endured happy times, hard times, times when life dealt us all a bad hand, and when life gave us all roses.
We all at one time or another have walked the same paths and held each other up~
My Texas sisters have the biggest hearts I have ever seen :)
~Lisa , You have been my rock girl!!~
( "Let it go birdie..let it go ...hehe)
~Rhonda, Laura and Caren, you ladies never grew weary, always there holding me up when all I wanted to do was lay down ~
( My prayer warriors are the best!)
~Diana has by far walked the furthest with me, knows me better than anyone else, has never left my side during my darkest hours, loves me unconditionally
and for that I am so grateful and blessed!! ~
She is MY sister!!
God in his amazing love for me has now blessed me with new friends to add to my Ya Ya sisterhood. " A group of wonderful women who through Christ have become a huge source of encouragement for me as God brings me into a new season in my life.
My fellow blogger ladies ROCK! ( Kelly and Tracy)
( Did I mention they live all over the world)
Our daddy God will always bring the right people at the right time to be our rocks, our shoulders to lean on and our "back" when we need strength.
He will place us all in the right place at the right time for those He chooses to connect.
I have been blessed to re-connect with old friends as well.....
~Gretchen you are a doll girl and your support means more than you know!~
( Our very late night chats are the bomb!)
My Ya Ya's come in all forms......
Prayers warriors.....When I just can't seem to find the words....
Venting sessions...... because we all need those :)
A quiet time of unsaid support.....Just a look and your sister knows with out you uttering a word.
Coffee "chat" time....
A battle buddy.....Three cord strength :)
And my favorite...."Jammie run to the Sonic"
These lades are honest, strong, supportive and have the love of Christ embedded so deep within their
hearts a person just can't help themselves.....
You have to love them!!
They all shine Christ love in a way only God himself can pour out.
It doesn't matter how many times the world comes at you to tear you up, beat you down and trample you,
to have a support system of Godly women, those who will charge the battlefield with you and for you
is in itself a HUGE blessing from our daddy God!!
A blessing I am honored to have~
( I do have some honorary "Brother" Ya Ya's and they too are awesome!!)
That would be the Sherwood Forest gang :)
God created us all to need others and by allowing him to place those in our life He knows will lift us up and strengthen, love and care for, our paths are paved for success!!
So as I move into yet another new season in my life, I am thankful for my "Ya Ya's" and for everything they deposit into my life. It is through each one that I find my strength, courage and persistence to continue the journey set before me~
Much love~
Stacey
